Gorilla Special

Overview

This Gorilla Special safari offers you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to track and observe mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. The tour includes visits to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to half of the world's population of mountain gorillas. You will also explore the beautiful landscapes and rich biodiversity of Uganda.

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, you will begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive through the countryside, with a stopover at the Equator for photographs and refreshments.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Today is the highlight of your safari: gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After a briefing by park rangers, you will enter the forest to track the mountain gorillas. Once you find them, you will spend one hour observing these magnificent creatures.

Day 4: Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, a beautiful lake known for its numerous small islands and abundant birdlife. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake and relax in the serene environment.

Day 5: Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Entebbe for your departure flight. This marks the end of your unforgettable Gorilla Special safari.
