Day 1: Arrival
On your arrival at Nairobi JKIA airport, our Company representative will be there ready to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Depending on your arrival time; you can take a tour of the city or relax at your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Emara Ole-sereni. (No activity included on Day 1).
Day 2: Nairobi Tour
Nairobi is a diverse and exciting urban setting for you to spend one or two days exploring the many attractions within the city limits. A guided city tour takes you to some of the most distinct attractions with a skilled and experienced guide that not only ensures your safety but also efficiently navigates the high-traffic roads, allowing you to enjoy all that Nairobi has to offer. Learn about African snakes and other animals at the Nairobi Snake Park and then visit the Nairobi National Museum where fossils from the East African river valleys are displayed, many of which tell the earliest stories of mankind. Your city tour also includes the capital’s shopping areas, local street markets, significant buildings, the Giraffe Center, & Bomas of Kenya.
Day 3: Nairobi - Maasai Mara
After breakfast, depart for Maasai Mara National Reserve. This drive will take approximately 5 hours with a stop at the Rift Valley View Point. Arrive at your lodge in Masai Mara time for lunch and later an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at tented camp or Lodge.
Day 4: Full Day Maasai Mara
After breakfast, you will spend the full day exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have game drives in the morning and afternoon with a break for lunch. During the game drives, you will have the chance to see a variety of wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and many others. You will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Dinner and overnight at tented camp / lodge.
Day 5: Mara - Lake Nakuru
Depart Masai Mara early in the morning for Lake Nakuru National Park (about 4 hour's drive) Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park with a game drive to the lodge in time for lunch, check-in, and a brief relaxation. Afternoon game drives in the park to see wildlife such as flamingos, rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and more. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Tented camp / Lodge.
Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, we check out Lodge with a morning game drive as we exit Lake Nakuru and drive to Lake Naivasha (about 1-hour drive) Arrive at Lake Naivasha and take a boat ride to explore the lake and see the wildlife, after the boat ride, have lunch at the lodge. Visit the Hell's Gate National Park for an afternoon game drive and hiking tour Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Dinner and overnight at tented camp / lodge.
Day 7: LAKE NAIVASHA – TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, we check out for our next destination, Tsavo East National Park which is approximately 6 hour's Drive. Arrive in Tsavo East National Park time for lunch and check into your accommodation. At 4 pm start with a game drive in the park, continue your game drive in the afternoon, with the aim of spotting some of the park's iconic wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and more. Return to your accommodation in the evening. Dinner and overnight at tented camp / lodge.
Day 8: Full Day Tsavo
Start early with a morning game drive, as this is when the wildlife is most active. Visit popular areas like the Mudanda Rock, Galana River, and the Yatta Plateau. Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the designated picnic spots within the park. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight at tented camp / lodge.
Day 9: TSAVO EAST – MALINDI – WATAMU
After breakfast, check out the hotel and Depart Tsavo East for Watamu with a game drive en route. A Visit to Malindi historical sites that include visiting Vasco Da Gama Pillar, Portuguese small church and museum before arriving in Watamu at noon. Check-in at your beach resort for lunch and relaxation. Enjoy the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at a Beach Hotel / Resort.
Day 10: WATAMU (EXPLORE MIDA CREEK & GEDE RUINS)
Pick up at your hotel or resort at 14:00 hrs. Start your safari at the following places. The ruins of Gede: The ghost city is one of the sites of great historical interest on the coast and it is still a mystery today what exactly happened to its inhabitants. Visit Mida Creek for Boardwalk and Canoe rides. Later drive back to the Hotel.
Day 11: WATAMU
Enjoy the day with Beach activities and snorkeling. Take a moment to be mesmerized with the elegant dhow then make yourself comfortable for a fantastic day trip. First up is a dolphin safari, as you sail the blue waters of Watamu. (Hopefully) spot the dolphins and spend some time with them, watching them gracefully swim through the waters in pods.
DAY 12. WATAMU – MOMBASA - SHIMBA HILLS NATIONAL RESERVE
Depart Watamu in the Morning for Shimba Hills which is one of the largest coastal forests in East Africa. This reserve is rich in flora and fauna and hosts the highest density of African elephants in Kenya. Other animal species found in the area are Sable antelope, elephant shrew, bushy-tailed mongoose, and other small mammals like fruit bats. The forest is an important bird area and is endowed with forest birdlife while the grasslands hold localized species such as red-necked-Spur fowl, Croaking Cisticola, and Zanzibar Red Bishop. The scenic Sheldrick Falls and the dense Mwaluganje Forest are also found here. Lunch, Dinner, and overnight at Lodge.
DAY 13. SHIMBA HILLS - TAITA SALTLICK LODGE
After breakfast, check out Shimba Hills for Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. The Taita Hills, also sometimes spelled as Taita Hills, are a mountain range located in Taita-Taveta County in southeastern Kenya. The hills consist of three massifs: Dawida, Sagalla in the southern part of Voi municipality, and Kasigau in the south near the Tanzanian border. Check-in for lunch and relax. 4 pm Game drive in the Sanctuary which is home to several species of birds and animals including lions, elephants, giraffes, and zebras. Return to the resort for sunset. Dinner and overnight at the Salt Lick Lodge. 3 game drive at the park. You will have the option to visit Taita Safari Lodge a sister lodge to Saltlick for a swim at their swimming pool or relaxing. Visit Taita Museum and learn about World War 1 and the battlefields. Dinner and overnight at Saltlick.
DAY 14. TAITA HILLS SANCTUARY
After Breakfast, Enjoy the morning and afternoon game drive at the park. You will have the option to visit Taita Safari Lodge a sister lodge to Saltlick for a swim at their swimming pool or relaxing. Visit Taita Museum and learn about World War 1 and the battlefields. Dinner and overnight at Saltlick.
DAY 15. TAITA HILLS - TSAVO WEST
Depart after lunch to Tsavo West National Park. The Park offers tremendous views with diverse habitats, ranging from mountains, river forests, plains, lakes, and wooded grassland. Its plains border Tanzania. Have your afternoon game drive en route to Severin Safari Camp. Provides a unique view of the water hole, which attracts zebra, buffalo, elephants, antelope, warthog, and many more. Each room has a view of the water hole. After lunch game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Severin Safari Camp.
DAY 16. TSAVO WEST
After a buffet breakfast, leave your camp for the mid-morning game drive which includes a visit to Mzima Springs, where Hippos, Crocodiles, and different species of fish can be seen in crystal clear water and lots of different species of birds you will also visit the Shetani lava flow where you will be able to see Africa’s highest snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro (weather permitting) from a distance. Return to your lodge for lunch. Afternoon Game drive with another visit to the Rhino sanctuary with the hope of seeing the endangered Black Rhino.
DAY 17. TSAVO WEST – AMBOSELI
Wake up early in the morning for breakfast, check out of your lodge, and start your journey to Amboseli national park, you will have an en-route game viewing. A drive of 2-3 hours, upon reaching the park you will check into your camp, rest for a while waiting for lunch and swim. After lunch, you will drive to the park for an afternoon game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at Tented camp / lodge.
DAY 18. AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy a Full Day Game drive in Amboseli (morning and afternoon drive) Amboseli National Park hosts a large population of elephants which are easily spotted, great views of Mt. Kilimanjaro at the backdrop, and many other animals such as impala, lion, African buffalo, spotted hyena, wildebeest and many more which are easily spotted in the park. After the adventurous game drive you will drive back to your camp, freshen up, have dinner, and get stay overnight.
DAY 19. AMBOSELI – TARANGIRE
After breakfast leave the camp/lodge for the last game drive as you leave the park for the Namanga border post for immigration formalities and arrive in Arusha to drive to Tarangire National Park. Check-in at Tarangire Safari Lodge which is a Tented Camp overlooking the Tarangire River. Relax have lunch and enjoy the pool and wildlife around. Dinner and overnight at Lodge or tented camp
DAY 20. TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park on a full day with a packed lunch. The national park is extremely famous and special for its diverse landscape and nine different vegetation zones. As you begin your game drive, you will be welcomed by the ancient and gigantic Baobab trees, which make even animals like the giraffe look tiny. The game drive goes on till about late afternoon and includes a small stop for a picnic lunch. The 3,000 Sq Kms park gets its name from the Tarangire River that flows through it. The river attracts a lot of diverse animals and you should be able to spot a lot of elephants, giraffes, lions, antelopes, and zebras. If it’s your lucky day, you might be able to spot the tree-climbing python and the long-necked Gerenuk. The Park has the highest concentration of elephants, which offers a unique chance for you to observe interactions between elephant families. Dinner and overnight at lodge or tented camp
DAY 21. TARANGIRE – SERENGETI
After breakfast check out at your Safari Lodge and proceed to the Serengeti National Park, the term ‘Serengeti’ means endless plains in the Maasai language. Viewing game en route on your way to the lodge, we will have a picnic lunch before checking in to your lodge at Serengeti for dinner and overnight.
DAY 22 TO 23. SERENGETI
Morning and afternoon game drive in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at the lodge or picnic sites in the mid-afternoon. In the central plains, there are carnivores like leopards, hyenas, and cheetahs. This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of the wildebeest and zebras, which occurs between Serengeti and Kenya’s Maasai Mara game reserve. Eagles, Flamingoes, ducks, geese, and vultures are among the birds seen in the park, Dinner, and overnight in your Lodge.
DAY 24: SERENGETI – NGORONGORO
After early breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater, and descend 2000 ft (670m) into the crater floor for a full-day crater tour with a break for lunch at the Ngoitoktok Springs picnic site or other beautiful site. Later ascend the crater and exit the park. Dinner and overnight at Acacia Farm Lodge.
DAY 25: NGORONGORO - LAKE EYASI & THE HADZABE PEOPLE
After breakfast we drive to Lake Eyasi, bounding the southern Ngorongoro Conservation Area at the base of the Rift Valley Escarpment, remote Lake Eyasi is a shallow soda lake prone to large fluctuations in area and level depending on local rainfall. Possessed of a certain desolate beauty, the surrounding dry savannah is home to the Hadza, or Hadzabe, a group of nomadic hunter-gatherers that numbers fewer than 100 individuals today and speaks a similar click language to the San people of Southern Africa. The overgrown village of Mang’ola is the most important settlement in the area and the base from which it is usually possible to visit a family of these traditional nomads, who resolutely refuse to be coerced into a more settled agricultural or pastoral lifestyle, and join them on a hunting expedition in search of baboons, dik-dik or even mice, all of which are dispatched with a traditional bow and arrow. DAY 26: KARATU - NAMANGA – NAIROBI
After breakfast, we check out Karatu and drive to Namanga Border. After border clearance, our Kenyan guide will be ready to pick you up and transfer you to the Nairobi Hotel. Lunch en route, check in at Windsor Golf Resort, and Relax. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
DAY 27: NAIROBI CARNIVORE RESTAURANT - JKIA AIRPORT (GOOD BYE KENYA)
After breakfast, depending on your flight timing, we will visit Nairobi City for shopping (Optional) and later visit Carnivore Restaurant (either for lunch or Dinner) before dropping you at the airport. This Marks the End of your Kenya & Tanzania Safari.
